PRESS RELEASE

We can change the culture of youth sports recruiting, by providing honest and meaningful support to aspiring college bound student athletes. Club Champions League Executive Director, Brian Kuk

VIRGINIA - (July 25, 2017) Club Champions League (CCL) announced their offline and online college sports recruiting solution, in partnership with The Sport Source® (TSS) to support Northern Virginia SC (NVSC) and their member players with a proven approach to college recruiting.

“Today, recruiting services are selling parents on the notion that for a fee they can post a player profile and video on their site and a player will get recruited – nothing could be farther from the truth”, said CCL Executive Director Brian Kuk.

The NVSC Members Only College Connection Center powered by CCL and TSS, gives parents and players unlimited access to 5800 two and four year colleges and over 5000 college soccer coaches representing NCAA, NAIA, USCAA, NCCAA and NJCAA programs using a personal approach.

“Having worked with leading college coaches for over two decades, they all say College recruiting services exist to make money, and they function as an unnecessary middleman. It has been our experience that college coaches would rather scout a player in person, than watch a video or dig thru websites looking for talented and qualified athletes who might be interested in attending their college, and playing for their program”, said Charlie Kadupski Founder of TSS.

The NVSC Members Only College Center includes a custom resume wizard that gives the coach and admissions staff a complete picture of the applicant.  The core course calculator and academic eligibility forecaster, ensures student athletes are taking courses that prepare them for college,  and parents utilizing  the net price calculator, can see the adjusted cost of any college after grades and test score monies has been awarded.   The video section includes a step-by-step on how to navigate the college maze, with timelines starting in grade 9, along with insight from college coaches on what they look for in a prospect, and how student athletes can create their own Unique Selling Proposition [USP].  While there are other aspects included in the NVSC College Center, the free mentor support provides families with answers to their college related questions, and free practice PSAT/SAT/ACT tests, help students become more comfortable and confident with the material they’ll be tested on.

“No two players are the same and their goals are as unique as their dreams.  Having been involved in soccer for years, there are many subtle parts of the game that you can’t see watching video, and it’s been our experience that when a player implements the TSS 3 P’s which is being prepared, persistent and proactive – communicating directly with the college coach, the player is more likely to be successful in the recruiting phase.  The NVSC College Center gives our players the ability to make a smooth transition from high school to college with measurable results,” said Technical Director of Coaching, Hans Etienne, for NVSC

CCL will be hosting a series of college bound seminars starting December 2017 to support CCL member clubs, players and parents.  To learn more about the #IAmCollegeBound seminar presented by TSS visit CCL
